N name resolution : The process used on the network for resolving a computer address as a computer name, to support the process of finding and connecting to other computers on the network. named pipe(s) : An interprocess communication (IPC) mechanism that allows one process to communicate with another local or remote process.Narrowband: 1) In data transmission, a limited range of frequencies. 2) More specifically, a network in which data transmission speeds range from 50 Bps to 64 Kbps. Network: Two or more computers that are connected so users can share files and devices (for example, printers, servers, and storage devices). Network: Any collection of interconnected points tied together by communication paths (wiring, satellite, wireless broadcasts).
