Media Guide: An online warehouse

Looking for that new song by Elliot Smith? Or maybe you'd like to preview the newest action movies. The Media Guide at WindowsMedia.com is jam-packed with links to music downloads, music videos, movie trailers, and much more. Just open Windows Media Player and click the Media Guide button (you must be connected to the Internet to access the Media Guide).

All media, all the time
The Media Guide features the latest on-demand music and videos, movie trailers and shorts, personal webcams, instructional videos, interviews, and more. Just choose the category that interests you—or start with the home page, which has the latest and most popular stuff you're looking for ready to go.

A helpful list of links lets you find everything from chats and skins to shopping and songs quickly. And don't miss the category links dividing all the media and links on the site by topic. Maybe you want to see everything about art, or perhaps you're looking for all the sports media. Whatever you’re looking for, just click your topic to get a list of related links.

Music: We've got the beat
If it's music you're looking for, click the Music tab for a chance to find the newest tunes online, and add to your own Media Library by downloading files. You'll also find links to top artists and music resources, plus features such as new skins for your player and links for online CD shopping.

Want to know more about a certain artist? The Find Music area features an Artist Profile search, which returns comprehensive profiles, including music for download, biographical information, a discography, and a list of similar bands that you might like. You can search for a profile by music category or artist name. Also in the Find Music area, you can go straight for the song and dance by searching in the Music Downloads or Music Videos tabs.
