Why does it take so long to connect to GUExpress?
What is GUExpress?www.tartoos.com
GUExpress is a free service that allows you to dial in to a local
number (202 area code) to access your e-mail account or use the Web
from an off-campus location. While connected through GUExpress, you
can use your Web browser to surf or access your Webmail, or your mail
program to access your GUSUN, GUMail, or other Internet-enabled e-mail
accounts.
All you need to use this service is your NetID and password, a
computer with a modem, an ordinary phone line, and an e-mail or Web
program (such as Netscape). Connection times will be limited to one
hour and ten minutes per session. You should use an Internet
Service Provider if you need longer connection times or modem access
from long-distance
locations
