Shockwave Flash Extensions (*.swf) Are Not Mapped
SYMPTOMS When you generate a Web site map by using the Web Site Map solution, Shockwave Flash (*.swf) files may not be included in the Web site map. www.tartoos.com CAUSE This problem occurs when the files are located anywhere other than an HREF tag on a Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) page. The Web Site Map solution is not designed to discover embedded extensions in HTML files. www.tartoos.com RESOLUTION To work around this issue, reference the Shockwave file by using the HREF section in the HTML code of your Web page. www.tartoos.com STATUS Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. |
